Round Robin Rack

A way to further humanise playback of samples, great for fingerdummers and live playing!

I wanted a device that could create the round robin effect used in many samplers that have multisampled notes so that each hit would not sound exactly the same.

For Mode 1 it creates alias midi notes so when you press one note it can play 4 other notes instead. When slicing a break to a drumrack, you then select for example all the kick sounds. Different play through modes, including random and probability based random.

Mode 2 takes control of the Macros of a Drum Rack. If each cell contains a Sampler, you can map the macros to the chain selector which includes different variations on the same hit.

The Project file has an example of each mode, with some free samples I made, and a classic sliced break.
